Backlink Battleplan

For the most part, I am loathe to promote internet marketing courses of any description. Usually these products are full of hype, rehashed information and way overpriced for the value received.

Today, I’m going to break with tradition and actually recommend a course that I think not only provides great value for the money, but actually over delivers on its promises.

As I have stressed before, creating backlinks for your sites is one of the most critical steps in getting your site’s pages to rank for the keywords you are targeting. With this in mind, I recently purchased a course called Backlink Battleplan. . The course was developed by Shane Melaugh of RichQuickReview.com. As I said previously, I am always highly skeptical of any type of IM courses, but this one seemed different than any thing I had seen lately. Shane’s course promised to deliver a variety of free and effective methods and tools for obtaining backlinks. I decided to buy the course because tools that are commonly used for obtaining backlinks are expensive, and many require monthly subscription fees. I thought that there could be some useful information in the course for people just starting out in our forum who didn’t have a lot of extra money to spend on tools.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the information Shane brought to the plate. To start off with, the format of Shane’s course is very well-thought out. He provides a Backlinks Battleplan written manual to follow, a series of seventeen videos which show you exactly where and how to sign up for free bookmarking, article directory, RSS aggregators, Web 2.0 and blog network sites. Shane then goes one step further, and has a step-by-step how-to guide to creating marketing videos and submitting then to a number of video sites via Tube Mogul. He also provides his customers with a checklist to make sure they are not omitting any steps in the plan.

Most of the sites that Shane presents to get backlinks from  require you to set up accounts  one time, but after that, your articles and bookmarks are pretty much submitted automatically, or at least semi-automatically.

The beauty of Shane’s system is that it does not rely on building links solely from one source, and his method creates nice layers of  links pointing to your money site. I have been implementing his system on this site for about a week now, and see that my incoming links are building slowly but steadily, just the way you want to for a relatively new site.

Now, you can certainly build links much more quickly with automated tools such as SENuke, and Bookmarking Demon and Scrapebox, but if you are new to affiliate marketing and not used to working with these type of tools, or else have a brand new site that you are promoting, there is a real danger that you can build links much too quickly and actually harm, not help, your sites standing in the search engine rankings. Shane’s course will help you get just the links you need without going overboard.

To sweeten the pot for his customers, Shane has even included RSS submission software and comprehensive keyword research guides and videos.

If you are just starting out in affiliate marketing, I think that you couldn’t go wrong signing up for Backlink Battleplan. If you are a more advanced marketer, you will know many of these tips and tricks already, but Shane does give some novel twists on building backlinks at sites that many of your competitors will not even know about yet.

Currently, Backlink Battleplan is selling for $97, but for a limited time, you can receive a $30 discount in one of three ways. You can post on Facebook, send a tweet or write a blog post about the course. Once your link is verified, you will qualify for the discount. If you think this is expensive, it is far less than one month’s subscription for various bookmarking tools and blog networks would be. I feel that it is a great bargain in comparison.

The only drawback I feel there is to the course is that the blog networks that Shane recommends are a bear to understand and submit articles to. If you purchase the product, be sure to watch Shane’s videos very closely during the sign up and submission process.

Would I purchase Backlink Battleplan again? Yes, I would, and there are very few courses I would give this kind of endorsement to.  I especially appreciate Shane’s non-hype approach to marketing, which is a much needed breath of fresh air.

All-in-all, a great product at a great price.
